Discovery Time in Room 20

We did chalk drawings, art and craft, the train set - outside, and of course Dress ups. We had a blast!

Reading Time...kind of

The Pears reading group read a book about Inventions. They shared their learning with us.

We thought we would make our own sundial.

At 12.10pm we drew a chalk line around the flagpole shadow. At 2pm it had moved!!

Team work

Beau, Ted and Oliver worked together to create a masterpiece.

Super Fun Maths Time

At maths time we work as a class or a group to complete our maths work. 

When we have finished we look at our task board and choose an activity.

Super Speller!

 Hazel passed all 29 Levels of the Spelling Rocket. What a Star!

She received a special pencil.

Fitness Time

We love to go outside for some fresh air and sunshine when we have finished our story writing.

We go for a quick run and practise ball and skipping skills.

This helps get oxygen to our tired brains and stretch our sleepy muscles. 

Then we are ready for maths!

Our First Finished Products

These are our first finished Diarama's. There is more to come.

Diarama's

We used 'Maui and the Sun' to create Diarama's.

We had to design our scene, dye our scene, cut, fold and secure our Diarama's, then plan,colour, cut and secure our characters and props to our scene. Very tricky! Luckily we have great learning buddies to support us.
